CHILDREN’S HOUSE

Children’s House

The Montessori Children's House program, designed for children ages 3 to 6, nurtures independence, concentration, and a lifelong love of learning. In a thoughtfully prepared environment, children explore hands-on materials in areas such as Practical Life, Sensorial, Language, Math, and Cultural Studies — building confidence, curiosity, and a strong academic foundation at their own pace.

Curriculum

Practical Life

Children develop independence, concentration, and coordination through everyday activities like pouring, buttoning, sweeping, food preparation, and care of the environment. These tasks also lay the groundwork for writing and reading.

Sensorial

Hands-on materials refine the senses and help children classify and understand the world around them — exploring size, color, shape, texture, sound, and smell.

Language

Children are introduced to phonetic sounds, vocabulary enrichment, storytelling, and writing. Through a sequential approach using Montessori materials, they move naturally toward reading and creative expression.

Mathematics

Concrete materials help children understand math concepts such as numbers, quantity, place value, addition, subtraction, and even early multiplication and division in a tangible, meaningful way.

Cultural Studies

This area includes geography, science, nature, art, and music. Children explore continents, countries, animals, plants, and the natural world — building awareness and appreciation for global diversity and the environment.

Grace & Courtesy

Children learn respectful communication, kindness, empathy, and social awareness through modeled behavior and daily interactions in a peaceful, respectful environment.
